How to apply - Dos and don'ts
Getting the surface right: Before applying make sure that the surface is free of dust, grease or other impediments. Moisten the surface if found dry.
The right mix:
7-9 litres of water per 50 kg bag.
Resort to a mechanical mixer/ electrical stirrer for quicker results
Mix 5-10 minutes (depending upon the speed of the equipment you use). Once done leave the mixture for 5 minutes. Mix it again before use.
Don’t mix hard and set plaster. The proportionate ratio is the secret for better results.
Now apply
Apply the mixture within 2 hr of preparation
Wet the surface before applying
Apply with hand carefully using a trowel and make sure the mix is not exposed directly to sunlight, wind or rain.
Cure
Under normal weather conditions, Fineplast doesn’t demand water-treating for 24 hrs from applying. After that, once the plaster dries, 5-7 days with 2-3 times per day would be ideal.
